Proposal Development

Model Contract

Model Contract is a draft contract that is contained in a Request for Proposal (RFP) package.  It’s just a draft and the final contract will not be developed until after the contract award. The model contract will include clauses and regulations that a potential contractor will have to adhere to. The model contract also allows any contractor to provide feedback to the contracting officer about the contract and any changes they might propose.

Purpose of the Model Contract

The purpose of the model contract is to give prospective contractors a draft contract that they can work to and comment on.
